Congratulations to Sandra Gonzales, Rosa Lozano, Bang Nghieu, and Deysi Ayala Rosa, our amazing custodial team, on their recognition as the Summer 2024 FCPS CARES Region 5 Recipients of the Month, presented by the FCPS Department of Human Resources.

The FCPS CARES Program allows parents, staff, and community members to recognize FCPS employees for going above and beyond to help others and show they care. We invite you to submit your story below so we can all acknowledge the good work of FCPS employees.

Oak Hill Elementary School has the BEST custodial team! Rosa, Sandra, Deysi, and Bang are a tremendous asset to the Oak Hill community. They are always willing to help with whatever is needed and do so with a smile! In the evening on August 15th, there was a massive leak in the building, and several areas were flooded. Rosa, Sandra, Deysi, and Bang worked tirelessly into the night to ensure that the building would be ready for staff on Friday morning and continued to devote additional time, energy, and effort so that the entire building was ready for students to start school on Monday. The school could not function without them; we are fortunate to have them!
