Advanced Academic Program (K-6)
Fairfax County Public Schools offers a continuum of advanced academic services for students in K-12 that builds upon students' individual strengths and skills and maximizes academic potential for all learners. Discover more about Advanced Academic Programs (AAP) at the elementary level.
At Oak Hill Elementary School. Mrs. Lahr, our Advanced Academic Resource Teacher (AART) collaborates with the school staff to meet students' needs through the continuum of Advanced Academic services. Oak Hill ES Parent Presentations
September 20, 2024 (9:15-10:15am)-Mrs. Lahr will be presenting the different levels of AAP services (Grades K-6) available to students in grades K-6.
October 21, 2024 (2:15-3:15)- Mrs. Lahr will be explaining the referral and screening process for full-time services (Grades 2-6). Second grade families are highly encouraged to attend
Full Time Referral Deadlines
The deadline to submit Full-Time referral forms for NEW families to FCPS as of January 1st is October 15th, 2024.
All other families must submit full-time referrals no later than December 15th, 2024. No late referrals will be accepted.
